CFMTA is calling all student artists to submit their artwork to be displayed on the 2027 Canada Music Week Poster!
Artwork must be an original work of the student

Who is your music hero?
A Canadian Composer, your teacher, the person who drives you to your lessons, the pet who listens to you practice each day, or the artist you listen to for inspiration? Not all heroes wear capes! We can't wait to see what you create!

Eligibility - Entrants must be:
- Canadian citizens or legal residents of Canada AND
- Currently studying with a CFMTA member
- Open to all students aged 18 and under.
- Please submit your artwork, with your name, email, phone number, teacher and province by November 15th 2026.
- Digital tools are allowed with the exception of AI assisted imagery.
- Artists will be recognized for their original work, however, for fairness of judging please ensure that your name is not visible on the submitted image.
- Your 15x15cm (6x6 inch) art will be enhanced with a circular frame.
- For Winning artwork - committee's decision is final
Winning artist will be acknowledged.

Congratulations to Lily Yuen of British Columbia and her teacher Lillian Chan for the prize-winning submission to the 2025 Canada Music Week Poster Competition! Her art will be featured on the 2026 Canada Music Week Poster and will be pinned on studio bulletin boards from coast to coast.
